A well-attended meeting chock-full of many announcements and updates regarding the myriad projects and accomplishments of service in which our club engages.
Today our club was very proud to recognize Rotarian Ed Murphy, who has made a significant contribution to the Rotary Foundation, perhaps the largest in the District for several years.  As Ed put it “We are so close - It’s time to finally tell Polio where to go!”.  Thank you Ed for supporting the great work of the Rotary Foundation!

Our club’s signature fundraiser, Hoopapalooza, is set for May 3, 2014 at City Hall Park!  Chairperson Michele Boomhower is filling slots on the committee and making great progress.

Rotarian Dave Mount is heading to Honduras to participate in Hands-to-Honduras where he and other delegates will be improving school facilities.

Sadly, we will say goodbye to Rotarian Springer Harris this Summer as he and his wife have decided to move back to the Baltimore area.  Thank you for your service, Springer!

Our club membership has raised $1,215 so far for the College Street Congregational Church Re-construction Fund.  This will be matched by the club and presented to the church.

Following the business meeting, we heard from Pamela Gardner of UVM Career Services to learn how UVM is preparing its students for the ever-changing workplace.
