We present to the City, Burlington Rotary Foundation's committed support for the newly renovated open space at City Hall. The support culminates with a check to the City for $3,500.00.
The Club also accepts the City's recognition-- in the form of a bronze plaque to be affixed to the bench we are surrounding, at the corner of Main and St. Paul Streets.
City representatives, V.J. Comai, City Arborist, Doreen Kraft (c) Director of City Arts, and Cindi Wight (r) Director of Parks Recreation and Waterfront,
get the first "sitting" opportunity on the Rotary Bench with a draft of the "centennial" plaque between them.
(A "Prime Spot" we can all agree!)
AND, AT THE SAME TIME...
President Jack presents Kim Wichert (r) with his MULTIPLE Paul Harris Fellow pin,
for his completing another, rare, level of Rotary International Foundation support.
RI Foundation Co-chair Ed, happily sticks his nose (well, actually fist) into the congratulations.
AND, MEANWHILE!!!...
Burlington Rotarian, and snowbird, Ute Regan (r) takes time for a pic with the Rotarians of Waikiki, Hawai'i
as the team and she complete their ocean-front community park renovation project, too.
Boy - their sunny day was ALMOST as good as ours!!!
